As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity, the Humaneering Institute has a special obligation to assure that qualified companies have equal opportunity to participate in the Institute's EarlyAccess field trial program. Because the R&D resources of the Institute limit the new Operations-Innovation Trials to only 30 host companies, the Institute will utilize an auction to select these companies. This auction process begins today with the start of registration, even though first-round bids are not due until August 9th and the steps for bidding are potentially simple and quick. The additional time will give executives ample opportunity to become more familiar with humaneering technology and to consider how this new technology might fit into its future operations.
